STRIKE RUMOUR IN AKANU IBIAM FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, UNWANA!!!

                                             STRIKE IN AKANU IBIAM POLYTECHNIC!

Its obvious that when we the students of poly unwana should be taking lectures and pushing our academic pursuits forward, the school decided to go on strike.

The country as a whole is suffering from Nemesis, lecturers are not paid and we all wonder how we all can go forward from this hardship. We can not be claiming that we need to make or develop our country and yet we are founding ourselves just at the backyard of stagnancy.

I could vividly recollect the other day i called my dad on the phone, "Daddy, i would want you to send me some cash to get one or two textbooks that was made mandatory by our lecturers". And what i heard from the other side of the phone was not really encouraging. Knowing very well that if he has it, he will not hesitate to send it to me, then i prayed to God so i could push on through.

It is with deep sorrow that i am publishing this message, cos if you ask me, i will tell that my prayer point is this strike to hold.

Are you really ok? Are you insane? Why on earth will you be praying for such? I smiled, and let them know that my reasons for the prayer point is because i need to go out there and hustle, know if i could have some cash with me so i could feed on, so to solve the issues facing me right here in the school.

"Lecturers abeg make una no gree oh, until dem pay una sala b4 tins go fall in place". No mind me say i dey talk like this, na becos, even if lecturers com class dem no dey serious, na vex dem take dey lecture us 4 class.

WE NO GO GREE! WE NO GO GREE!! WE NO GO GREE!!!
