UDUSOK Notice To New Students On Name Change (Procedures)!!!

Students that are just admitted into Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto are hereby informed that the management will not just accept names that is different from the ones in the owner’s previous documents but such students would have to follow due process in order to effect any name change.

Please note that students should register with the:
»»Names by which they were admitted.The University does not normally approve change of names but if a
student wishes to change any part of his/her name(s), a Sworn Affidavit and appropriate classified advert in
Newspaper and must support such application before any approval could be obtained from the Registrar.

»»Any approved change of name should accordingly be communicated to the Students’ Affairs Division,the
relevant departments and Faculties.

»»Change of name in the year of graduation is not allow.
Please follow the above guidelines to effect your  change of name with the Registrar.
